FUAN AOM_ Kimberly Lowe

Kimberly Lowe has been named FUAN July 2021 Advocate of the Month! She was born and raised in the state of Virginia, residing in Brunswick County. Having known since the seventh grade she wanted to run for Congress, Lowe – a former educator, a farmer, and policy advisor – said she has built a campaign for Congress on reforming the family court system and Child Protective Services practices that she claims unfairly target and take advantage of families for financial gain; feelings rooted in her own struggles with the system.

Kimberly is a single mother of three running for Congress in Virginia. She has already been an advocate for families and helped navigate families through family court and CPS issues for years. She is writing replicable State legislation to reform family court and CPS to be introduced in Virginia in 2022. She is also working with other State legislators to push policies that will make families stronger. She is spending much of the next year traveling through the United States, bringing awareness to family Court reforms that are needed. and she She is running on several issues, including family court, child welfare, and CPS reforms, and protecting our American farms.

“If you can't fly then run, If you can't run then walk, If you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”

~ Martin Luther King, Jr.

Kimberly has three children, now 15, 13, and 11, and is on year 5 of family court. She serves as the Director of Legislation for Global Family Alliance, the Director of the Center of Court Reform and Justice, and on the board of Chasing Freedom Virginia. Kimberly works tirelessly on community projects from healthcare to education to job growth to farming and is making a positive impact. When she isn’t homeschooling and farming, she helps guide parents through Civil Court and works to reunite families separated by poor family court or CPS decisions, and has helped in many child trafficking cases.

Lowe has stated that billions of dollars are spent each year to separate American families when that money could be used to make families stronger. She is a FUAN Family Participant, and we are proud to name her FUAN July 2021 Advocate of the Month. Congratulations, Kimberly!
