FUAN EVENT Bubbles of Love/International Parental Alienation Awareness Day 2021
“Bubbles of Love/International Parental Alienation Awareness Day” is a day to recognize all of the children who have been separated from their mom or dad or both, and extended family members, by the government. Whether you are a parent going through divorce or separation or your child was taken by a state agency without good cause, these children's lives have been forever disrupted and they are not getting to see some of their family members.
We blow bubbles on this day to recognize these children. We believe that the children deserve and are entitled to receive love and care from all of their family members. The “Bubbles represent LOVE. Just like bubbles, LOVE cannot and should not be contained.”
“BUBBLES OF LOVE” Parental Alienation Awareness Day (PAAD) takes place on Sunday, April 25, 2021 as part of a global campaign to raise awareness about Parental Alienation.

Most importantly, we invite you to participate by helping us get a proclamation from your local school and/or mayor. Ask your mayor to recognize “Parental Alienation Awareness Day” within your town or school. We will help you help the children. We have made it easy for you.

– Download the Mayor proclamation letter and put in your details.
– Download the proclamation request certificate and attach to your letter.
– Click on the link to Email the Office of the Mayor and attach your letter and proclamation for the Mayor to sign.
– Follow up your request with a call to your Mayor and ask if you can be present when the Mayor signs to take pictures and send the pictures to FUAN.
—WHAT IS PARENTAL ALIENATION?—
Parental Alienation is the process which results in the psychological manipulation of a child to reject a parent. This manipulation may lead to a child having unwarranted fear, disrespect, or even hostility towards a parent or other family members. Parental Alienation is both a distinctive and widespread form of psychological abuse. This usually results in family violence which affects both the child and the rejected family member(s). This occurs almost exclusively in association with family separation or divorce (and particularly where legal action is involved).
Most commonly, the primary cause of such alienation is one parent wishing to exclude the other parent from the life of their child. Other family members or friends, as well as professionals involved with the family (including psychologists, lawyers and judges), may contribute significantly to the process. Parental Alienation often leads to the long-term, or even permanent, estrangement of a child from one parent and other family members. Parental Alienation contributes to adverse childhood experiences, and it significantly increases risks of both mental and physical illness for children.
—WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN?—
Parental Alienation is a destructive process that occurs in some families during or following a divorce. Distorted parental practices happen when one parent has a severely distorting influence on the child’s relationship with the other parent. This may cause the child to entirely reject a relationship with a normal-range, loving, and affectionate parent. As a result, the child loses a healthy relationship with a loving and affectionate parent. This can leave a child in an unhealthy, psychological pathogenic parent situation. The Alienation represents the family’s inability to transition from an intact family structure united by the marriage to a separated family structure united by the children and by the continuing parental relationships with the children. The family’s difficulty with this transition is the result of one parent’s narcissistic personality traits that are distorting this parent’s response to the divorce and dissolution of the marriage. The narcissistic personality traits of one parent are then damaging the child’s relationship with the other parent.
